Fola Folayan Thinks The Bible Sidelined Women In The New Testament, Here’s Why | @TheFavoredWoman

Fola Folayan, an OAP at Nigerian Info and a Women, Youth and Social Development Advocate did a short thread on Twitter some days ago about the Women in the New Testament.

Compared to the Old Testament, where Women had quotas, Ruth, Esther, Deborah and their likes, the New Testament only referenced the powerful women in some verses, that, maybe, should have been more than that.

The culture and ideology then would have influenced alot seeing that the New Testament revolved mostly around the Apostle Paul who more than once may have inferred that the Male is superior to the Female, 1 Timothy 2:11-12, a topic that still divides the brethren till today. But that’s not why we are here, see Fola’s Tweet. They are thought Provoking. I bet they didn’t tell you this at Sunday School
